"I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some." -1 Corinthians 9:22

Paul understood something that still matters today. People speak different languages. They come from different cultures with different questions, experiences and worldviews. Paul knew if the hope of the Gospel was going to reach them, he needed to understand the people he was trying to reach.

Notice what Paul didn't say. He didn't say he would change the Gospel or reshape God's Word to make it more acceptable. Instead, he changed his approach. He met people where they were so they could encounter the unchanging truth of Christ.

That same principle continues to shape the work of TWR Canada.

Around the world, millions of people still have little or no access to biblical teaching in a language they understand. Some live in remote communities, while others face persecution for following Jesus and many more cannot gather publicly with other believers to grow their faith.

For people around the world, the need is not for a different Gospel, it is for greater access to the Gospel. That is why TWR Canada uses media.

Whether through radio broadcasts, digital platforms, media players, discipleship resources or in person teaching, every ministry tool serves one purpose: helping people hear God's Word in ways they can understand.

This can look different from place to place. It may mean providing media players loaded with culturally relevant discipleship resources in Sri Lanka that connects the Gospel to everyday life, using both radio and digital platforms across Cuba to reach people wherever they live or translating discipleship resources for individuals from Iran so they can teach and disciple others in their own communities. The message of Christ never changes, even if the method does.

TWR Canada seeks to meet people with biblical truth through methods that are accessible, appropriate and effective. By all possible means, we want every person to have the opportunity to encounter the hope of Christ.
