THE NEED IS GREAT

3,494,406,980

That’s the number of people on the planet who remain unreached with the gospel.

43% of the world’s population.

4 in every 10 people.

More than a third of us.

More than a third of us lack a sufficient community of believing Christians and lack resources to evangelize without outside help.

Stand with us as we observe the International Day for the Unreached on June 8th 2025. A day for recognizing just how many precious lives have never heard about Jesus and standing with them in prayer that the gospel will reach their ears soon.

This is the mission of the church. This is OUR task – yours and mine – to go to the ends of the earth and proclaim the hope of Christ.

At TWR Canada, we work to assist the Church to make disciples of all people by sharing through media around the world.

Media is powerful because it can reach beyond walls. Beyond ideology. Beyond persecution. With the tap of a phone, a discreet radio signal, or a downloadable audio bible - someone can encounter Jesus in their own heart language, often for the first time.

Radio Home Groups

Listener in Sri Lanka

"We are a small group of Christians that do not have a church to attend. We were suffering all this time without proper guidance in the Word of God. We didn’t have any resources to study and develop our faith. But since we started this radio home group, we are able to study the Word of God properly and grow in faith. All these years my mother-in-law hadn't accepted Christ, even though we tried to introduce Christ to her. But now she joins our radio home group to listen to the Word of God. She has been a Buddhist for 70 years but now she is ready to accept Christ as her Saviour."

Media Players

Listener in Liberia

"I came to know Christ while keeping watch as a security guard on the Hope and Care for Children campus. I struggled to grow in my faith because I am illiterate. I cannot read the Bible and depended on others to read and teach me about God's Word. That was until I received a player. Now, anytime you see me at my post, you can hear God's Word being shared. I am rarely alone, as kids love to gather around him as they listen to the teachings with me."

Women of Hope

Listener in Central Asia

“I am currently serving time in jail. Life here can be lonely and challenging but discovering your radio program has brought light and encouragement into my days. Listening to the program gives me hope and reminds me that there are people out there who care about us and want us to have a better future. Through the program, I not only find strength, but have also been given the chance to learn to read and write through your literacy classes. It was a dream I thought I had left behind, but now, little by little, I am becoming literate. These skills are helping me feel more confident, and I look forward to putting them to use when I rejoin society. I am truly grateful to you for helping us feel seen, valued, and capable of growth, even within these prison walls.”
