Summer has a way of changing our routines.
The pace feels a little slower. Calendars fill with camping trips, afternoons at the lake, backyard barbecues and time with family. Even churches often shift into a different rhythm as programs pause and people come and go throughout the season.
There is something good about rest. God created us to need it. Opportunities to slow down and relax allow us to reconnect with family, enjoy God’s creation and be renewed in the purpose He has called us to.
But while our schedules change, the need for the gospel does not.
Across the world, millions of people are still waiting to hear the message of Jesus. Some live in remote villages where there is no local church. Others live in places where following Christ comes with real risk. And many have never heard or read God’s Word in a language they understand.
Regardless of the season, TWR Canada continues to spread the hope of the gospel through media.
Evey day, we have the privilege of serving alongside believers around the world who are committed to making Christ known through media. Together, we are helping the Church reach places that are difficult to enter and encouraging people who might otherwise never have the opportunity to hear the gospel.
Faithful supporters who continue to pray and give, help biblical teaching programs reach thousands of people through radio, digital media and trusted local partners. It is heard in homes and communities where church gathering may difficult, discipleship resources are hard to find or where traditional ministry work cannot easily access.
Summer can be a season of refreshment, but it is also a reminder that God's work never stops. His love continues to reach people every day.
As you enjoy the slower pace that summer often brings, would you remember those who are still waiting to hear the hope of Christ?
