Curious About Christianity

Have you ever been really curious about something?

As in, you just had to find out more? Were you willing to take great risks in your pursuit of that knowledge? Like go to jail? Or maybe even risk your life?

That’s exactly what people living in areas of South Asia do when they decide to explore Christianity.

Together, we are broadcasting hope-filled messages across borders to reach and impact precious lives in a region where it is dangerous to be a Christian.

We call these hostile places - where Christian believers face persecution and restrictions because or their faith. Your support provides safe and accessible means for them to hear the gospel, be discipled and grow in faith.

As you read these listener testimonies from South Asia, may you experience the power of their gratitude and how God’s love triumphs through them despite their circumstances!

“My family are nominal followers of the majority religion, but I had always been curious about Christianity. To learn more about the beliefs, I listened to The Prophet radio program in secret. My heart was moved by the stories and lessons I heard, and I had a close encounter with Jesus. Following several months of prayer and listening, I decided to come to the faith. Despite the risks, I now join a house church and share my testimony with others.”

“I was depressed for a long time and lost hope for the future. While looking for something on the radio to divert my attention, I stumbled on the Sada-e-Haq broadcast. I was greatly moved by the words of love and hope. I started listening to the lessons on a daily basis. I was able to get over my despair and discover a new purpose in life. I now assist those in need and take an active part in my local Christian community.”

In one particular country in South Asia alone, more than 3,600 radio home groups gather weekly to listen to biblical programming on a media player and then discuss what they have learned. These groups welcome believers looking to deepen their faith, and those who are curious about Jesus. These intimate groups create space for members to ask questions and for leaders to come prepared to compassionately address these questions.

“My family was going through a trying period due to internal strife and financial difficulties. For solace, I started listening to the Women of Hope Punjabi radio program. My behavior began to be influenced by the lessons of forgiveness, love, and faith, which I also shared with my family. The dynamics of the family gradually shifted as we all started to pray and encourage one another. I attribute the harmony and tranquility in my household to the Women of Hope Punjabi radio program.”
