Millions of people have never heard the good news that Jesus loves them — people just like you, who for one reason or another aren't quite as easy to reach. Many of them are isolated, oppressed and broken, living without hope for the future.

As believers, we're called to go and tell the world about his love, to make disciples of all nations. It's a big call, but we serve a big God, who promises to be with us through it.After all, with Jesus, hope knows no barriers.

And throughout history, he's equipped us with technology: The Roman Roads, the printing press, advancements in transportation. Today, we have media. And media provides a unique opportunity to overcome barriers to share the love of Christ in every corner of creation.

Media travels to places we can't always go. It can reach into people's homes and lives with a timely message of Christ's love. It can carry hope at just the right time to someone feeling discouraged and alone.

That's where Carlos found himself — alone in the remote mountain jungles of Colombia, where he processed cocaine. He was injured and had nowhere else to turn but the radio.

Carlos' life changed completely in that moment. He received Christ. He poured gasoline all over his cocaine processing equipment, setting everything on fire.

“I really found Jesus, or he found me,” Carlos said. "I think it was the second one. He found me. Because why would I be looking for him? He went to the jungle and rescued me. Who did he use? TWR. Who else? Nobody else could go inside there.”

In that moment, Pastor Eliseo via the radio waves became Carlos' someone. And Carlos went on to be the someone for all the men who worked for him. They gave their lives to Jesus. Fourteen of those men even went on to plant churches — from planting cocaine to planting churches! We serve a big God.

And we want to keep being someones for someones around the world, sharing his love. We believe God has given us media for this time in history to overcome barriers to bring his hope to those, just like Carlos, who are lost and alone, living without peace.

Today, we speak hope in a few more languages — more than 275, actually, but the message remains the same.
