The seeds of missionary service were planted early in Sereth Macwan’s life. Born in India to parents who served faithfully with TWR’s partner in India, Sereth grew up witnessing firsthand how technology and faith could work together to transform lives. TWR’s mission work was woven into the fabric of his daily life, shaping his future aspirations. For a personal introduction from Sereth, please watch his video here!
Growing up in this environment of service, Sereth developed twin passions: a deep commitment to Christian ministry and a fascination with technology. He pursued his technical education at ITM Vocational University in Vadodara, India, earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering. Sereth is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.

Support Sereth
In 2018, Sereth moved to North America, continuing to develop both his skills and sense of calling. He earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from California State University, San Marcos, and later completed post-graduate studies in Cloud Computing Technologies at Brown College in Toronto.
Throughout his career in IT support, consulting, and systems implementation, Sereth never lost sight of his missionary heritage and continued seeking ways to merge his technical expertise with his calling to serve.
In October 2024, Sereth was appointed as a TWR Canada missionary appointee. He is currently building his ministry partnership team and looks forward to beginning his service with TWR once his support is fully raised.
Based in Scarborough, Ontario, Sereth is currently in the appointee stage of service. He is preparing to serve with TWR’s international global IT support group. Once fully supported, he will work remotely in a full-time capacity, ensuring that TWR’s technological infrastructure remains robust, stable, and current.
His role will focus on planning and maintaining the systems that enable TWR’s global outreach efforts. Though his work happens behind the scenes, it will be vital to TWR’s mission of reaching the world for Christ through modern technology.
