Moral Conduct Standard

Trans World Radio (TWR) is committed to the maintenance of a healthy work environment. Because of this, the following acts or behaviours are unacceptable for TWR staff, missionaries, interns or volunteers and will not be tolerated. Such acts may subject them to discipline, up to and including termination of their relationship with TWR. These acts or behaviours include, but are not limited to, the following: adultery, fornication, homosexuality, financial malfeasance, child abuse (sexual, physical or emotional), incest, physical, sexual or substance abuse, acts of violence, serious marital problems that in the opinion of TWR leadership could lead to divorce, habitual viewing of pornographic materials, indecent exposure and sexual harassment. Prior to taking action, TWR will consult with leadership on any situation where a breach of the Moral Conduct Standard is reported, proven or confessed, and will follow the TWR Policies & Procedures in application of discipline. If those violating the Moral Conduct Standard are serving TWR under an agreement with another agency, that agency will also be notified of the facts and nature of the violation as well as the action being taken by TWR. Reporting to civil and professional authorities will be made as appropriate.
