    There Are Changes Coming!!

    Peggy's Update
This year Project Hannah will celebrate our 20th anniversary!! Over the years, I’ve often heard our Founder, Marli Spieker, express her great delight and awe at what God has done. I’ve heard her quote Habbakuk 1:5 many times:  “Look at the nations and watch—and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” (NIV)

And we are utterly amazed! God has done far more than we could have ever imagined! Today we have a powerful global prayer movement of more than 50,000 intercessors praying in over 85 languages in 127 countries. The Women of Hope broadcasts reach millions of listeners in 80 countries in over 65 languages. And women are being encouraged and equipped to embrace their influence and reach out to their communities for Christ through leadership training. See? It’s amazing what God has done!!

Last year Dr. Peggy Banks joined as the Global Ministry Director. Peggy has worked hard to familiarize herself with the ministry. She has travelled extensively to meet our leaders and the women we serve; she has immersed herself wholeheartedly in our desire to bring hope and healing through Jesus’ name. Out of her experience and leadership come some changes.

Our core vision and values won’t change. We are still committed to bringing hope to women around the world and across generations. We do this as we equip, encourage and engage women to pray, listen, learn, grow, and give through media, group interaction and leadership development.

Come January we’re rolling out a new name.

It’s not really a new name: TWR Women of Hope. Peggy also explains that there will be more changes coming: “Even more significant, however, is our commitment to be responsive to the Lord’s leading as we grow and fine-tune the ministry’s vision and mission. Our core message will never change, and we are eager to adapt and refine our tone and style to reach new audiences and new generations for Christ.

“Raising awareness, learning, listening, training women leaders and praying about the daunting challenges facing far too many women in the world will continue to be key objectives of TWR Women of Hope. This awareness will always be infused with the strong and confident expectation that the perfect plan of our all-powerful Father will ultimately be realized in Jesus Christ. We commit to       projecting that positive, hope-filled tone in all our public communications.”

So stay tuned!! And together let’s pray that we will continue to be utterly amazed!!

“I am so thankful to be a part of this ministry and to be called is very humbling. It takes a lot of people who love the kingdom to do this work. I’m a collaborative leader and I take charge, but I’m very interested in their hearts and desires and engage them in the work God has called them. What a privilege to be able to serve so many people.”

    Stay tuned for more …
