    Peggy's Update
Dr. Peggy Banks is the new Global Ministry Director for Project Hannah. She took on the role in January 2016 and admits she’s still learning. Peggy was recently in Canada speaking at the TWR banquet in London, ON. We asked Peggy to write a short blog post so you can get to know her a bit better.

Thanks for having me on the blog today, Colleen. I love Canada. I was only there for a short visit this time, but I would love to come back. I know some of you are interested in finding out what plans or changes I am envisioning for Project Hannah so I thought I would share a few words about that here.

    What’s Staying The Same
Our vision is to bring hope to women around the world and across generations. We do that as we equip, encourage and engage women to pray, listen, learn, grow, and give through media, group interaction, and leadership development. We have an initiative to bring about awareness of who we are and what we’re doing with women around the world though our Speaking Hope to Women events for 2017.

    What’s New
We are preparing to create some new media materials for social media and new video and audio content over the next couple of years. We are still working out the details of what that will look like and we would appreciate your prayers as we work through the strategy.

We want to train leaders to embrace their leadership influence so they can impact their communities for Christ. There are plans for many training and leadership development programs.

Finally, we want women to learn to live out their lives in front of others in such a way that many will come to know Jesus. What experiences/giftings/talents do you have that you can use to draw others near to Christ? How can we help you identify those strengths and use them for God’s glory?

I would love to see the number of people praying through the Project Hannah prayer calendar double from 50,000 globally to 100,000 or a million. That would be amazing. I want to build on the foundation that’s been laid so beautifully by our founder Marli Spieker and her passion to help women.

I am so thankful to be a part of this ministry and to be called as the Global Ministry Director is very humbling. It takes a lot of people who love the Kingdom to do this work. I am excited about where Project Hannah is going and what the Lord will do through this ministry.
