He Is Close And He Saves

The Lord is using Project Hannah’s Women of Hope program to break through walls of oppression and violence against women. Many have discovered the truth that he will deliver them, that he is close to those who are brokenhearted, and that he saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:17-18). We praise him for all he is doing!

    Women of Hope Responses

“I listened to your programs when I was going through a hard time in my life. I lost all my hope and didn’t want to live anymore. It’s sad to grow up in a big family but to feel lonely, and I still felt that way after I got married. I was abused and had no one to share this with. I felt like a mess, but when I started to listen to your program, I felt something in my heart. Like hope. I really believe God is willing to help me and that he loves me. I want to know him more.” – a listener from Turkey

“By listening to the Burmese Women of Hope, I have received much spiritual strength. I have learned that through fellowship with God, we can receive joy. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to listen to sermons about God through the radio I received from TWR. I am so thankful to TWR-Myanmar.” – a listener from Myanmar

“Hello TWR. I thank you for the Woman of Hope program. Simply the name of your broadcast has already touched me. I was desperate. My life had become regrettable and bitter. I had already meditated on a plan for divorce, but while I listened to the radio one day I heard you speaking about internal beauty, and it is there that I began to understand that my heart was nasty. I blamed my husband for everything negative, and I was caring for the outside instead of arranging the inside. May God bless you.”  - a listener from the Ivory Coast

“I am HIV positive. I would like to thank God because he healed me spiritually. I thought that I’m nothing in this world, but when I listened to your radio program [Women of Hope], I understood that in Christ I have a good place to rest and Jesus loves me. Please continue with this program because I know that there are many people who are discriminated against by the family.” – a listener in Mozambique
