      New Partnership For Children's Ministry

We’re excited about some new opportunities to get involved in children’s ministry around the world. For over 40 years, TWR has partnered with A Visit With Mrs. G ministries to air their popular A Visit With Mrs. G radio program that’s still airing in the United Kingdom and South Africa in English.

TWR Canada has now partnered with the Toronto-based Bible Stories Alive, the publishing division of A Visit With Mrs G Ministries, to translate the children's Bible stories into Mandarin, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili, and Spanish. In addition, there is interest in translating and producing the books into 4 other African languages.

      Print Books to EBooks

Translation work continues on a book by book basis in each language. Each language and people group will receive the content in a format that best suits their needs and access to technology. In Mandarin, the books will be available in ebook and audio book formats. The Arabic books will be available on media players and SD cards (parents can use these with laptops and mobile phones). In Farsi, because very little Christian content is available mainly due to persecution, these books will be promoted or distributed to parents and children through social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, etc.) as well as online in audio book formats.

The Spanish language translation work has already begun, and audio production will occur starting this summer. Swahili translation and production work will be done in Kenya and will be aired on the radio on weekends when the children are home from school. Parents and children will be encouraged to interact with the radio program through text messages, phone calls and social media. The English programs will also see wider distribution on the radio in Malawi.

      Committed For Another Four Years!

There is a lack of biblical teaching materials for children, but TWR Canada is committed to producing 8 books annually over the next four years to address this need. Teaching children the stories from the Old and New Testaments is a great way to build a solid foundation of biblical history and an understanding of the character of God they can build on as they mature. Parents also learn through reading and listening to the stories with their children, and discussion questions are presented for use in family or church situations. Children are a gift and a treasure, and we’re so glad to be able to be a part of this ministry.

      Thank You!

Thank you for your continued support. Because of you, many children around the world will hear about Adam and Eve, Abraham, Moses, Joseph and many others. They will learn about Jesus and others we meet in the New Testament.

“Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, so will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them” Isaiah 55:11 (MSG).
