Nathan and Megan Dunlop, from High River, Alberta, spent two years in Johannesburg, South Africa as short-term missionaries and knew they had to go back. They've spent the last year in Canada raising the additional support needed to return as career missionaries. They need $200/month to complete their needed funding and in faith are making plans to return to South Africa in January 2017.
Nathan has a degree in audio engineering and sound design. In the two years he worked out of TWR's Africa Regional Office in Johannesburg, he had the opportunity to upgrade the production studio with digital equipment and update the software. Nathan also worked on updating audio techniques and quality to meet secular industry standards.
These changes to the production and recording studios mean TWR Africa has one of the most sophisticated studios owned by TWR. New video content began production to share the gospel in new ways, to introduce or reinforce the message of Christ through a new media platform that continues to grow in reach and popularity.
"I don't feel I've done all I'm meant to do. I feel there's a greater purpose and project that's ahead," says Nathan Dunlop.
Megan homeschools their three children and helps out at the local church with various mission and outreach events. "Children are not a distraction from more important work, they are the most important work." C.S. Lewis
