As 2020 comes to a close, we wanted to share some amazing testimonies from our ministries around the world! Amid a global pandemic, the hope of Christ continues to bear fruit wherever it is planted.

In Sri Lanka, we sponsor the radio program God’s Unique Book. People from many different faiths listen to the program and share their testimonies with us.

"I'm calling you from prison. I heard this program for the first time. I need help from God, and I want to know and accept Jesus Christ. Please help me."

In many places, including Nepal and Bangladesh, TWR Canada distributes radio home kits with pre-loaded content in the heart languages of the locals.

“Thank God for the wonderful radio kits. They help me to share the gospel with my neighbours.”

"I've been listening to radio programs for a long time, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have had more time to listen to the Word of God through this radio kit. In many ways, my spiritual relationship with God has become deeper and I am grateful."
In South Asia, listeners face many challenges, such as war, violence and persecution. We broadcast programs that encourage listeners in their faith, as well as reach out to those of different faiths with the hope of Christ.
"I am from a different faith. I was lonely and I felt stressed in my life. One day, I received a call from a pastor who insisted on listening to the radio home programs and he sent me the player, along with the TTB program. I started listening to the programs. I realized that God is with me always, and that he is my provider. Nine months ago I accepted Jesus Christ as my saviour."

In Burundi, we sponsor radio programs on the national FM network. One listener wrote: I am happy to tell you that The Way of Righteousness teachings are bringing Bible knowledge to many people. I listen to this program every Thursday and find it deep, with good explanations. Please pray for me because I really want to be firmer in my faith."

The Prophets is written specifically for engaging Muslims with the gospel. The Prophets is designed for the Senufo people, who live in a region spanning the northern part of Côte d’Ivoire, southeastern Mali, western Burkina Faso and northwestern Ghana.

"I listened to the program on the prayer of Abraham. The point which stuck out to me is the purpose of his intercession. I understand the importance of focusing on the purpose in prayer, because in prayer, there are many distractions and situations that can lead us away from our goal. Thank you very much. I understand the lesson and will put it into practice now.”

Our ministry to the Persian-speaking world includes social media, training conferences and radio programming. A listener of Radio Voice of the Gospel shared the following: "Hello. I can see the honesty within you, so I would like to get to know more about your God and your belief. Thanks for everything."
Women of Hope programs are broadcast all over the world and in many different languages. The radio station director in Mali shared the following with us: "When the program is broadcast, some heads of families make the family listen together. Most families say that this program strengthens relationships in their homes, families, villages and country. It is a mirror in which we get to know ourselves. It gives us the desire to change positively."

SOTA is our three to four-year seminary training program for Chinese believers and church leaders around the world. A former student shared this: “I will keep all the lessons and materials with me and will listen to them again in the future. The training is very good!”

Thank you for your prayers and support of the ministry of TWR Canada this year. You can sign up to receive weekly emails with prayer requests for the ministry here. In the coming year, we look forward to sharing more stories with you of how God is working in the world through media!
