In November, we are praying for persecution and prisoners. Please pray…

    1. Heavenly Father, we ask that you be with the imprisoned preachers in Hong Kong. Give them strength to endure and courage in the face of danger. Help them to trust you and not give up their faith. (Rev. 12:11)
    2. Lord, strengthen Christian schoolchildren in Sweden as 50 per cent of them are mocked for their faith in school. May teachers treat their students fairly so schools can be a safe place to learn. (Matt. 5:10)
    3. Father, in some areas of Indonesia, Christians are persecuted and not allowed to gather for church. May your power enable these Christians to stand firm. (Gal. 5:1)
    4. Father, help Christians in Denmark to hold on to the Word of God even when their biblical beliefs are different from the prevailing public opinion and considered extreme by many. (Acts 2:42)
    5. God, thank you that Christian groups in Uruguay go to prisons to read the Bible and sing to the inmates. Open the prisoners’ minds so they will understand your Word and trust in you. (Luke 24:45)
    6. Lord, we pray for those in Nepal who are persecuted by their families because of their faith in Christ. Please also protect the churches and their members that are being blamed for spreading the coronavirus. (Matt. 10:22)
    7. Lord, we pray for refugees in Germany, many of whom are living in difficult circumstances. May they be accepted in German society as equal citizens and receive protection and support from German Christian communities. (Lev. 19:34)
    8. God, there are many hungry and needy people in Vietnam right now. Please move the hearts of your people to help them. (Matt. 25:35)
    9. Portugal has one of the highest percentages of women imprisoned in Europe. Lord, may these women come to know Jesus through prison ministries and have access to the Women of Hope programs. (2 Cor. 3:17)
    10. Lord, protect women and girls in Liberia. If a woman’s husband dies, she is forced to marry her husband’s brother. Otherwise, she is sent away with nothing. (James 1:27)
    11. Father, strengthen evangelical Christians in Serbia who are sometimes mocked by traditional churches there. Uphold them with your right hand, comfort them in their pain and bring unity in your church. (Isa. 41:10)
    12. Father, may inmates in the Philippines experience your great love through the chapel services in the prisons and come to know you personally as their Saviour and Lord. We pray also for their safety and protection from disease as the prisons are very crowded. (Rom. 8:1)
    13. Father, we pray for the Adivasis, an indigenous minority in India. They are often oppressed and falsely accused, especially if they are Christians. (Ps. 82:3)
    14. God, open a way for more Christian chaplains to be available to minister to prisoners in France. May the prisoners be set free from sin by your Word. (Isa. 61:1)
    15. Lord, it is hard to be a Christian in the North Caucasus. Many believers are abandoned and disowned by their families. Help those who believe in you to find others who can serve as their new families. (Mark 13:13)
    16. Father, we pray for prisoners in Bonaire to know that you love them deeply, causing them to desire to accept Christ. (Eph. 2:4-5)
    17. Almighty Lord, strengthen young people in Romania so that they will stand firm and share their faith even if their friends reject them. (1 Pet. 3:15)
    18. Lord, we praise you that Christian inmates in South Korea are sharing Christ within the prisons. Although they are imprisoned and separated from families and friends, may they experience you, God, knowing you are always with them. (Ps. 69:33)
    19. Father, may the small Christian population in Japan not feel alienated and lonely but witness boldly for Christ without being discouraged. (2 Cor. 4:8-9)
    20. Heavenly Father, we pray for the ministry in the Estremera Prison in Spain. May both men and women come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)
    21. Beloved Father, manifest your beautiful gift of salvation to each of the inmates who participate in the TWR Women of Hope meetings at the Buen Pastor prison in Paraguay. (Acts 4:12)
    22. Father, we pray your protection and healing over Ethiopia and its many people groups. May they live together in peace and unity and not be harmed by outside influences which seek to divide this nation and peoples.
    23. We pray, Lord, for the spiritual work that is going on in Finnish prisons. Strengthen and equip the employees working with the female inmates, and may your love reach into the hearts of those serving sentences.
    24. God, comfort the Indonesian believers whose families persecute them for their faith. Some are even separated from their children, but nothing can separate them from your love. (Rom. 8:38-39)
    25. God, we are grateful for religious freedom in Europe. May we who enjoy this freedom be thankful but also remember our persecuted brothers and sisters who do not experience this. (Rom. 12:15)
    26. Lord, we pray for Liberian women and girls who are imprisoned for crimes that they did not commit. Please set them free. (Ps. 146:7)
    27. God of mercy, we pray for the rehabilitation of imprisoned women in India. Only you can bring healing and restoration to them as they face the stigma of being prisoners. (Ps. 68:6)
    28. Heavenly Father, bless the Romanian prison ministry Rock of Ages in Romania. As your Word is shared, may many prisoners turn to God and be set free. (1 Pet. 3:18-19)
    29. Dear God, encourage and empower those ministers who are sharing the gospel of Jesus with prisoners in Japan. May the prisoners have faith to believe in you and find freedom in Christ. (Gal. 5:1a)
    30. Father, help us to forgive those who persecute your servants. “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matt. 5:44, ESV)
