"Eliana and Ozias love watching religious television programs, and after seeing our program, Ozias requested the book Destination Finale. When we went to deliver the book, we noticed they had posters of the Ten Commandments prominently displayed around their house. They were Seventh Day Adventists. They showed us their recordings of La Parole Vivante as well as those of another program by the Seventh Day Adventists. Eliana had grown up in the Adventist Church her parents attended in Haiti. Originally Catholic, Ozias became an Adventist when he married Eliana. Joyfully and eagerly welcoming us into their home, we began to talk. They believed they could earn their way to heaven on the merit of their good works. As we presented them with the plan of salvation, they understood their need to trust Christ alone, not their own attempts at righteousness. Both prayed, accepting Christ as their Savior. Eliana danced delightedly; Ozias beamed with joy. Together, they had finally been released from the law’s bondage, have now found true freedom in Christ! Glory to God!" - as told by one of Aujourd'hui l'Espoir's follow-up church contacts
