A Great Tool to Reach Out - Trans World Radio Canada

Impact Stories

“I live with my family in the forest area and we are a secluded people without much connection with the outside world. The quarantine period has been very hard for us. When I learned that distancing had to be maintained and only those who sold essentials were allowed to be out and interact with people, I decided to set up a makeshift shop and sell essential items. This gave me an excellent opportunity to play the program on the audio player and people who came over to buy things listened and were curious to know about the content. So far I have introduced this program in Malto to 400 people during this lockdown of almost 2 months. I even challenged people to start radio home groups. This is a great tool to reach out.” -Joseph
